Power for All launched in Nigeria in May 2016 with workshops in Lagos and Abuja which brought together distributed renewable energy companies, aid agencies, civil society organizations and government representatives focused on addressing energy poverty. Almost 100 million people in Nigeria lack access to electricity, by far the largest number of any country in Africa. The workshops identified collaborative approaches to rapidly increase energy access, and kick started joint activities to end energy poverty. Read more »
