Last month Power for All held its first media workshop in Nigeria, bringing together editors and producers from the country’s leading media houses. The well received event provided knowledge on decentralized renewable technologies, business models and impact. The strong interest in energy access solutions by the journalists led to requests for a variety of data, impact stories from the field, engagement with industry leaders and more.

The event comes as the latest of a series of media workshops undertaken by the Power for All team, following two hosted in Harare. Further training will take place for Nigerian news editors following the West Africa Power Summit on the 21 September, and a media workshop will also take place in Sierra Leone on the 22 September. If you are a member of the media and would like to talk to our country leads in Nigeria, Sierra Leone or Zimbabwe, please get in touch
