Webinar: Access Insights Platform Uganda Launch

July 28th, 2021, 3-4 pm EAT - Join Catalyst Off-Grid Advisors and Power for All for the Uganda launch of the Access Insights Platform (AIP) data visualization platform. We will walk the audience through a live demonstration of AIP Uganda and hear from a panel of leaders in Uganda's growing off-grid energy sector to explore the value of democratized, accessible data to optimizing service delivery.

AIP is an interactive, open-source data visualization platform launched earlier this year that provides key insights and hosts data and visualizations relevant to last-mile service provision in countries with fast-growing energy sectors. Register here

Power for All Kicks Off Power for Health Campaign in Burkina Faso

July 2021- In partnership with the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), Power for All commenced the Power for Health Campaign in Burkina Faso to support the government’s efforts to electricity rural health facilities in underserved regions with distributed clean energy. By creating powerful evidence and messages to raise awareness and build national consensus and action roadmaps, the campaign aims to help countries achieve universal health care for all. New Team Members

Power for All is excited to welcome two new members to our team. Amsatou Salambere/Guiro is the Power for All’s Country Director for Burkina Faso where she’ll be leading the implementation of the Power for Health Campaign. Amsatou has 20 years of experience in development cooperation working with government, private sector, civil society and development partners. She is passionate about relationship management, public relations and stakeholder engagement, and development communication. Amsatou holds a Master of Science in Sociology with a major in Communication from the University of Ouagadougou and a Master of Arts in Development Policy and Practice from IHEID, the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. 

Vivian Chilaka joins the Campaign as a Power for Health Intern. Vivian is a young and emerging professional in the field of environmental sustainability. She has 3 years of experience in Environment Education and Advocacy, working with civil society organizations and the private sector. Her experience spans stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, program research, design, and management. Vivian holds a Bachelor's degree in Forestry and Wildlife Management from the University of Port Harcourt and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Environmental Forestry and Management at the University of Agriculture, Makurdi.
