WEBINAR, July 6: Off-Grid Renewables - Energy Access and Market Opportunity

This webinar, hosted by the Clean Energy Solutions Centre and presented by Christine Lins, Executive Secretary of REN21, and Kristina Skierka Power for All Campaign Director, provides an overview of REN21’s newly released Renewables 2016 Global Status Report, the explosive growth of the off-grid sector and the market opportunities presented by decentralized renewables.

ABUJA, 15 July: Nigeria Renewable Energy Association

Ify Malo, Power for All Campaign Manager, Nigeria will be hosting a workshop to bring together key players from the Nigerian decentralized renewables sector to join together behind plans for the Nigerian Renewable Energy Association.

WEBINAR, 21 July: Power for All Update

The team will hold a meeting for partners to provide an update on campaign activities and actions. If you are an ally of Power for All but have not received an invitation, please let us knowand we will provide further details.

FREETOWN, 28 July: Technical Workshop

Power for All will be holding a workshop with ministerial staff and key stakeholders to support activity in respect of the Sierra Leone Energy Revolution and Energy Africa Compact.

HARARE, 29 July: Media Workshop

Power for All will host a media workshop for Zimbabwe press and media editors to provide an overview of the decentralized renewables sector, highlight activity in the region and provide the latest updates from the local market. A second media workshop will be held in Harare on the 4 August.

June Highlight: Nigeria BTGSeries

 

Power for All has also been profiling the power of distributed renewables with media around the world, including via Nigeria’s beyond the grid BTGSeries with hosts Olu Ogunlela and Adiya Atuluku.
