About Sharon Ogolla
Sharon’s expertise and interests are in statistics, research, monitoring and evaluation. She has
demonstrable expertise in quantitative analytic methods with the ability to generate insights from
complex datasets. She has worked with the United Nations World Food Program (WFP), African
Women in Agricultural Research and Development (AWARD), Christian Aid and is part of the
Statistics National Technical Committee of the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS).
Sharon holds a Master of Science in statistics from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember
(Indonesia), bachelor’s degree in computer science and professional certification in monitoring
and evaluation. Sharon speaks Kiswahili, English, Dholuo and Bahasa. She loves to travel off
the unbeaten path, very passionate about international development and social inclusion.
