Climate Program Officer - Packard Foundation
Justin Guay joined the Packard Foundation’s Conservation and Science Program in March 2015 as a climate program officer. He supports the Foundation’s overall engagement in the effort to stop dangerous climate change. He also assists in leading the Foundation’s Innovation in Climate Solutions strategy.Prior to joining the Foundation, Justin held the position of Associate Director within the Sierra Club’s International Climate Program where he focused on energy lending reform at international financial institutions and global efforts to transition energy systems beyond coal to clean energy with a special focus on energy access. He worked for the Sierra Club since 2009, including in roles involving lobbying, media relations, policy research and advocacy. Justin received a Master’s Degree in International Development from the University of Denver and received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah.
